
KYOKO TAKENAKA (竹中響子)
Kyoko Takenaka is an anti-disciplinary visual and performance artist with over 10 years of experience in butoh dance, film and media arts.
As a collaborative curator, producer, choreographer and performer, their work has been performed at LACMA, Lincoln Center, Huntington Gardens; exhibited through Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, the Autograph ABP; featured on Criterion Collection, the LA Times, BOMB Magazine, Apple TV, Hulu, Nowness, HBO, and Far-Near.
As a musician and composer, Kyoko has developed musical scores and helmed several music projects including the release of their ambient jazz record on In Sheep’s Clothing.
